Advanced Technology Research

JSTOR’s advanced technology research team is investigating data, text and image analysis, this research will feed into:

The production of linking techniques - mapping information in the catalogs to other collections including the journals in JSTOR’s collections
Identification and analysis of hand written annotations in the catalog
Community editing tools - enabling users to upload information about particular catalog records, such as indicating or correcting the sale price of the object, and the ability to add an annotation that gives further information about the piece.
