What is a Platform Editor, and how can I become one?

A Platform Editor is a user whose edits are accepted right away and do not go through a review period. In order to become a Platform Editor, someone must nominate you to be a Platform Editor by clicking on the Editor Nominations and submitting a nomination. A Platform Editor must approve the nomination before you can become one.
