1.4. Personalization

Up one level

Every user has a Dashboard, upon which they can add several portlets. A portlet is box of information about a specific item, e.g., News or Events. For example, you could place on your dashboard the portlet which will allow you to see your most recent edits or all recent edits by everyone. 


To reach your Dashboard, click on your name in the upper right hand corner.

You Dashboard is layed out with the portlets you choose to have on there. A portlet will only appear if there is data for it to show, otherwise it stays hidden.

 

To add or change the portlets on your Dashboard, select the 'edit' tab, and then from the drop down lists, select which portlets to show. To remove a portlet, click on the red 'X' in the tite.
